Lone Working and Personal Safety
Introduction
The Lone Working personal safety training course is designed specifically for organisations that employ members of staff in a lone working capacity, i.e. staff that may have to visit clients in their homes or places of work, driving alone, working alone outside normal working hours etc. Employers have a responsibility to ensure the health safety and welfare of individuals who by the very nature of their work have to work independently. The course covers the legal responsibilities associated with the employers and employee, risk assessments information sharing, communication systems and safe strategies to carry out when working alone, especially when dealing with difficult and challenging situations.
Duration
This is a one day course which covers theoretical information and various practical sessions and group activities. We are able to deliver these courses to companies, organisations or individuals who may have there own lone working businesses.
